Our son Brendan was passionate about many things in his life. His greatest passion, however, was sports. He participated in many sports throughout his life and was the best fan ever for his favorite college and professional teams. Brendan got his college degree from the University of Kentucky and was a passionate fan of their basketball team. His favorite baseball team was, of course, the Atlanta Braves!

Without hesitation, we can say that Brendan’s favorite sporting team EVER was the University of Georgia Bulldogs football team! He started attending their games when he was only 10 months old and went to the majority of their home games and many away games throughout his life.

We have so many wonderful family memories surrounding sporting events. Each morning before any sporting event that Brendan was going to attend, JT would say or text to him “HAPPY GAMEDAY!”. It was a tradition. Our first football season without Brendan on this earth JT was quite sad about not being able to continue the HAPPY GAMEDAY tradition. Needless to say, that is how this foundation was born.

Brendan ran ahead to Heaven on April 7th, 2021. We miss him so much and can’t wait to hug him again when Jesus calls us home!
